Cupertino Rotary Diwali Fashion Show

On Nov. 15th, Cupertino Rotary hosted a Diwali event – a celebration of Diwali including professional dancers, Rotarian dancers and an amazing fashion show.

The program kicked off with PP Savita, who explained a bit about Diwali; the 5 days of celebration and the triumph of good over evil. The Expressions dance team performed a Bollywood Dance Medley.

The fashion show of Indian Saris was presented by Silk-on-Divas. The models showed off their beautiful outfits to an arrangement of classical Indian music.
After the fashion show, a pair of amazing dancers performed a traditional Odissi Dance.

To cap off the evening Sameer Kausar (son of Anjali Kausar) had a group of 10-15 Rotarians on the dance floor and taught them a Bhangra Dance. Sameer then ended a night with a free-style dance.
