AAUC announces Asian American Unity Summit and invites nominations for awards
Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC) has announced 2023 Asian American Unity Summit from September 25th to 27th, 2023, to be held at the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
AAUC works to build a community that inspires and supports Asian and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) to become civically engaged. The purpose of the summit is to bring powerful AAPI leaders together to share, to inspire, and to take bold action towards being more engaged in today’s society.
Starting 2022, AAUC had honored those individuals or organizations who have become great achievers and/or contributed to the AAPI communities. AAUC is seeking nominations from Asian American and Pacific Islanders (or organizations) living in the United States in the following categories:

- Norman Mineta Award for Public Service
- Outstanding Community Service Award (individual and/or organization)
- Asian American Philanthropist of the Year (individual and/or organization)
Nominations are also being sought for a “President’s Award for Young Asian American Person of the Year.” The nominee must have demonstrated accomplishments in his/her professional field or in starting up a new business venture or recognized for social/community service.
