Staying alert and safe through the storms – it is not too late to be prepared
Severe storms are forecast to pummel California through January 19th. It is not too late to be prepared.
On January 17th, Listos California and California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) presented a special briefing co-hosted by Ethnic Media Services and California Black Media to give an update on the storms and educate the public on how to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.
Experts working on the frontlines provided an overview of the impact of the storms and what to expect in the near future; a guide for how to keep you and your loved ones safe at home or on the road in extreme weather; where flood victims can go for recovery resources.
The video includes representatives from California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and other California state agencies.
