On Sunday, Aug. 14th, the founder and president of Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC) SK Lo send out an Email to Asian American Community leaders, congratulated Mr. Sandy Chau, Chairman of the Board, Civic Leadership USA on being selected to be the recipient of AAUC’s Asian American Philanthropist of the Year Award.

Dear Mr. Sandy Chau,
On behalf of the Asian American Unity Coalition (AAUC), we would like to congratulate you on being selected to be the recipient of AAUC’s Asian American Philanthropist of the Year Award. This award is given in recognition of your outstanding multiple-year generosity in supporting many AAPI organizations, and sponsoring many internship programs for empowering our AAPI communities. We also recognize your big heart and always enthusiastic support for your beneficiary AAPI organizations including AAUC. Thank you for being a great role model.
AAUC is a nonprofit 501c(3) organization formed in 2019. Our mission is to unite and empower our diverse AAPI communities to speak with one voice. AAUC has hosted the National Civic Leadership Forum (NCLF) since 2019 in Washington DC. This year our annual NCLF will be conducted in person from Sept 11 -13 at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas after holding the event in a virtual setting in 2020 and 2021. The purpose of the summit is to bring powerful AAPI leaders together to share, inspire, and take bold action towards being more civically engaged in our society. Five awards will be given during our Award Dinner Gala in recognition of the outstanding Asian American Leaders on their contributions to the AAPI communities in our society:

§ Asian American Philanthropist of the Year

§ President’s Award for Young Asian Pacific Islander American
Mr. Sandy Chau, you will be recognized along with other outstanding Leaders at AAUC’s 2022 National Civic Leadership Forum Awards Dinner Gala on Monday, September 12th starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Paris Hotel and Casino Las Vegas, Nevada. You will be honored with the Asian American Philanthropist of the Year Award for your outstanding generosity and contribution in benefiting the AAPI community. In receiving this award, we would like you to give a short acceptance speech at the dinner banquet.
The proposed agenda for the evening includes a cocktail reception, greetings by dignitaries, a keynote speech, and the awards ceremony followed by the banquet with a multicultural entertainment program. The evening will conclude with dancing accompanied by Bollywood music. We are planning a very exciting evening for the Award Dinner Gala.
