Marsha Cheung Golangco – AAUC Organization Member: APAPA
Marsha Cheung Golangco is the Board President of Asian Pacific American Public Affairs (APAPA) Bay Area Region, Board Chair of APAPA Tri Valley Chapter. She represents APAPA as a Board of Governor in AAUC. She is also a lifetime member of AAUC. Marsha is an Author, Speaker and Entrepreneur, and a longtime community leader. Her mission is to promote a harmonious world for all. As a former Human Relations Commissioner, she sees herself as a bridge, connecting her Asian American heritage to all communities. Marsha actively participates in a diversity of community groups, including as a Cofounder of Sustainable Contra Costa County. Marsha received numerous awards including the President’s Award of the Year of the Building Industry Association for her dedication to the advancement of professional women in the industry and an Honorable Mention Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award of the Year. Marsha holds a B.S. in Biology, a M.A. in Economics and completed a Ph.D. program in Environmental Science.
AAUC Nonprofit Leadership Training
Benefit from technical guidance and lead our team
AAUC is offering this special nonprofit leadership training free of charge to our active and current individual and organization members. AAUC will provide one room night hotel in Las Vegas per member for the training in March and in December respectively. Travel expenses will be the responsibility of the participants. All need to register and show proof of full vaccination and agree to wear mask during the event.

This six-session series is presented in two parts: the first part is offered in Las Vegas on March 12, 2022 and the second part will be offered in December (date to be confirmed). This training will be in person given by Mary Gladstone-Highland, CEO of the Spark Group who has given the same accredited course online. This training is jam-packed with tips and will give the participants an opportunity to collaborate with a cohort of your peers. You will benefit from professional coaching and have time to discuss the unique leadership challenges you face.
