This week, we are preparing July 4, 2021: the first Independence Day celebration after over a year of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have suffered; and much has changed. For all Americans, these words still resonate deeply: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” As we come together this hour, let’s share our stories, our reflections, our anticipations, and our preparations.🤲
