Carl Shan is a Senior Data Scientist at LinkedIn. Previously he was a high school computer science teacher in the Bay Area. He was also the cofounder of Teen mentor program-Orenda Academy.

He grew up in Cupertino, attended Lynbrook High and UC Berkeley, where he majored in Statistics.
