About Event:
The First Youth “I love my Community” Video News Competition
2020 is a very unusual year for us and our country, an economic disaster on top of a health pandemic. Many of us cannot go to work or go to school, over 250,000 people have lost their lives. During this difficult time, we want to uplift each other with love and hope, encourage our next generations to tell the stories of love, and show their love towards our community through video reports.
Ding Ding TV (Silicon Valley Innovation Channel and Voice of Asian Americans)together with BayArea Youth Initiative and some other community partners will present “Love our Community” Video News Competition to bring the stories of love to our community and simultaneously acknowledge and honor our next-generation creators.
The competition requirements:
1. participates must under the age of 18.
2. The “I love my communities ” stories need to be in the form of news reports or storytelling.
3. The video format must be mp4. The news report should be concise and clear and in less than one and a half minutes. Please submit 150 words of news introduction as well
4. Please send the video to Contest@dingdingtv.com
. If the video is too large to exceed the mail limit, please submit a link to Google share driver.
5. The deadline for submission is 12 / 26 / 2020

Award of the competition:
One first prize, $300
Two-second prize winners, $200
Three third prize, $100
Viewers’ Choice,
All the video contents will be published on Silicon Valley Innovation Channel – Ding Ding TV and promoted to over 100,000 people through media channels.
The judges of this competition are diversified community leaders, youth mentors, and media experts.
