2020 NCLF–Impact of Globalization Reconfiguration: Protect Our Business and Our Civil Rights
The escalating US China conflicts have caught Asians Americans in the middle. Emerging US sanctions and export controls are complicating practices in cross continental trade and scientific collaborations. Legislations and policies such as the American Innovation Act are proposed to regulate US scientific practices in an unprecedented way. What specific contributions can we as Asian Americans make to create a better policy environment for ourselves ?How can we help the stake holders in our community to manage operation risks and enhance fundamental understanding of the changing policy landscape? In this session, we invited policy experts who have engaged in such endeavors to share their experience.
