ESC Embedded Systems 2020 Conference & Expo

Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California
Aug 11 – Aug 13, 2020

Cars are getting smarter. But the shift to Level 5 autonomy will take time, testing, and, most of all, the technical chops to perfect the connected car at the component level. That means sensors, 5G, systems on chip, and other foundational elements that are the heart of the autonomous vehicle.

This summer, Drive World Conference & Expo launches in Silicon Valley with North America’s largest embedded systems event, Embedded Systems Conference (ESC). The inaugural three-day showcase brings together the brightest minds across the automotive electronics and embedded systems industries who are looking to shape the technology of tomorrow.

Will you be there to help engineer this shift?

 Join the Movement

Drive World with ESC is bringing 2,500 electrical and mechanical engineers to Silicon Valley for an inaugural, cross-discipline event this August. Find the foundational education, networking, career guidance, and supplier connections needed to keep pace with the automotive and electronics industries.

Get a free expo pass and explore innovations in autonomous, hardware, software, sensors, security, connectivity, and more, or opt for deeper technical training at the two conferences covering smart mobility and embedded systems. Join the movement at Drive World with ESC.

5 Standout Sessions at the Conference

The speaker list says it all with experts from ArmIEEE, and Google. Below are five sessions not to miss at ESC.

A DEEP DIVE INTO DEEP LEARNING

Deep learning, or AI, is an important piece of every processor and end application, including automobile safety systems, smartphones, and even microcontroller-based consumer devices. Learn the latest when it comes to sparse compute, spiking neural networks, and in-memory (analog) compute.

TESTING OF 5G ENABLES DEVICES

5G is approaching rapidly but there are still some fundamental differences when it comes to testing devices with 5G capability. This session will look at potential challenges with testing 5G, including those that need to be done over-the-air, via the antenna interface.

A HANDS-ON CODING WITH EMBEDDED LINUX WORKSHOP

You’ll get the fundamentals of coding with open-source Linux-based software using online IDE Cloud9 and sensors and outputs. This interactive workshop uses a low-cost 1GHz single board compute, which will be supplied. From add on boards to circuits — try out your own design.

HOW TO BUILD A SCALABLE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR EMBEDDED SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

Building your first product is hard, but trying to repeat the process and scale is harder. This tutorial gives you the infrastructure needed so you and your team can build products as quickly and efficiently as possible.
