She is one of the candidates of San Francisco mayor, a close partner of Ding Ding TV, and a respected professor in the field of art and music. Also, she is the pioneers of both “a better San Francisco Chinatown” and “Only in SF Chinatown”. Media has often dubbed her as the “perennial candidate” because of her propensity to throw her hat in the ring for local office. The reason why she wants to run the mayor seat again because she has witnessed the decline of San Francisco Chinatown in the past few decades; therefore, she wants to improve the quality of life and increase social awareness of those people.
