More than 30 cities in national-wide of participants all came from nonprofit organizations that coordinate public service internships, they shared their experiences placing interns in their local government offices.
As Dr. Michael Chen and Mr. Sean Yang mentioned that we have to help those interns on identifying what kinds of leadership types fit them, what are their strengths and which areas of the skills that they still need to develop. Meanwhile, as organizations’ leaders, you have to think about what are those interns needs first since they may not have any experiences about internships; therefore, we can provide and help what they need to be a suitable intern.
