2019 Cupertino Bridge Award Recipients Announced
CUPERTINO, CA – As Silicon Valley grows more diverse, contact between business people from around the world has become more frequent and necessary for communities and businesses to thrive.
The Cupertino Chamber of Commerce Bridge Award recognizes those individuals and organizations that have helped build trust, respect and dialogue within Cupertino’s multi-ethnic and multi-cultural business community.
In 2019, the Bridge Award for Individual Service recognizes Barbara Nunes. Barbara represents the epitome of the true volunteer. For over 10 years, The Kiddie Academy has delivered a growth-centered experience for children founded on hands-on activities, access to technology, parent involvement, school preparation and character education.
The 2019 Bridge Award for Organization of the Year goes to Feathers in the Wind, a volunteer dance troupe that has performed traditional and modern Chinese dance routines at events for free throughout the community and region for over 10 years.
