Great panel discussion sponsored by the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce on the challenges of addressing the jobs to housing imbalance, and the negative consequences to Fremont I highlighted on traffic of Silicon Valley’s failure to build its fair share of housing. I offered solutions both locally and regionally on addressing these challenges.

The panel moderator was Nick Kaspar, Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce CEO. I was invited to join Sherman Chan, Senior VP of CBRE, a commercial broker, and Gary Nobile, a residential broker, from the private sector, to complement my city perspective on the value of maintaining local control and community engagement.
