We are launching a new quarterly Lunch & Learn series that will include networking with local businesses, lunch and a guest speaker focusing on business success.
Our inaugural speaker will be C.C. Yin, a Bay Area entrepreneur who will share how he succeeded under challenging conditions when he opened his first franchise, to grow his franchise business to 30 Northern California McDonald’s restaurants. Mr. Yin arrived in the United States determined to succeed. Heading to America after a narrow escape from mainland China to Taiwan during the Communist takeover, C.C. immediately began to seek a better life. After 18 years in an engineering career, Mr. Yin decided to try the entrepreneurial route and opened his first franchise. Through persiverence and working with his local community, he was able to succeed in business. Hear about his philosophy on community involvement and learn how you might apply it to your business. Cost to attend is $25 for members and $35 for general admission.
