If you are thinking about starting a small business or large company, or maybe you already have a business and are just looking to help accelerate the growth of your company and think of new and innovative ideas, the Silicon Valley entrepreneur Festival was the place for you.
This week the Santa Clara Convention Center hosted the 2017 Silicon Valley entrepreneur Festival. This event gathers together world leading entreprenuers, investors and developers from different parts of the world including Asia and the United States. I had the pleasure of speaking with a few very important people at this event.
Diana Ding Ding is the founder and president of Ding Ding tv, which is the first Chinese American internet tv that focuses on new inovation and culture. She is also the co-founder and CEO of the Silicon Valley entrepreneurs Festival. When asked about this event she said, “there are 3 purposes for this event, the first purposes is we Gather industry leaders and discuss about the trend of innovation in high-tech. Second purpose is for China’s capital to come here to meet with Silicon Valley startups. The third purpose is we have media professionals like you, to publish Innovation from Silicon Valley.”
I also talked to the president of the Chamber of Commerce Chris Horton. He explained how the chamber of commerce plays a role in helping businesses succeed. “At the end of the day, you have to love what you do.”
Adam Draper, founder and managing director of BoostVC was one of the speakers at the event. I got to talk with him about his company and what he does. BoostVC helps promote upcoming companies by investing in them for a percentage their company. They provide to companies housing and a place to work, networking and time to work on starting up their buisness. BoostVC focuses on Syfy technology they want to “push the limits of the future by making science fiction a reality.”
There were so many things to learn at the silicon valley entrepreneur festival and I can’t wait to be a part of the next festival.
